Important Exam Info
Proctored Exam Information
Many courses that are entirely online will have at least one supervised (proctored) exam per term. The supervised exam can be supervised at the GGU San Francisco campus, a Consortium of College Testing Centers exam site, or by using ProctorU, an online proctoring service.
Students will receive information about acceptable proctoring options via an email from eLearning at the beginning of the term. Students will be notified by a separate email when each exam is ready for scheduling.
Student Proctor Selection Form
The majority of students taking fully online courses need to complete the student proctor form at the beginning of the semester. You will be notified by email if you need to fill in a student proctor form.
This form is available at http://www.ggu.edu/spf . Each term a new form is required.
If you plan to use ProctorU, you do NOT need to submit a Proctor Form to eLearning.
ProctorU is an online exam proctoring service via web-cam. More info can be found at www.proctoru.com.
This convenient online service permits students to take the web-based exam 24/7 from the comfort of their own home. Students need to create an account with ProctorU and schedule exam directly with them. Fees apply: e.g. $10.00 per 2 hour exam; $12 per 3 hour exam.
Students can test the equipment at www.proctoru.com/testitout before the appointment to ensure everything works correctly.
