Proctored Exam Information

Many courses that are entirely online will have a supervised (proctored) exam. The supervised exam can be supervised at the GGU San Francisco campus, a Consortium of College Testing Centers exam site, or by using ProctorU, an online proctoring service.

Students will receive information about acceptable proctoring options via an email from eLearning at the beginning of the term. Students will be notified by a separate email when each exam is ready for scheduling.

Testing Center Selection Form (CCTC):

http://www.ggu.edu/student/examlocation.do (Login to MyGGU portal required).

Note: If you plan to take the exam on campus (GGU location) or use ProctorU, you do NOT need to submit this Form.

ProctorU

ProctorU is an online exam proctoring service via web-cam. More info can be found at  www.proctoru.com.

This convenient online service permits students to take the web-based exam 24/7 from the comfort of their own home. Students need to create an account with ProctorU and schedule exam directly with them. Fees apply: e.g. $10.00 per 2 hour exam; $12 per 3 hour exam.

Students can test the equipment at www.proctoru.com/testitout before the appointment to ensure everything works correctly.

If you have questions about proctored exams or need to schedule an exam on campus, please contact elearning@ggu.edu or call 415-369-5250.
